Hey there. Welcome to this week's glow bite. In our main episode this week, we dipped into a little Leo astrology in honor of my birthday. And even though we're not experts, we had a lot of fun exploring what Leo season is all about.

Nicole:

Leo energy is warm, bold, expressive, and ruled by the sun, which is literally the center of our solar system and Leo season invites us to do just that step into our own center, and shine.

Alicia:

So today we're sharing five simple and powerful ways to celebrate yourself this week. These are small rituals or moments of joy you can sprinkle into your week, because self celebration doesn't have to mean a fancy party or a big milestone. It can be quiet, it can be simple, and it can still be soul shifting. Okay. Number one, plan a solo date. Take yourself out literally, whether it's a solo trip to a cozy cafe, a museum stroll, or a walk with your favorite playlist. Carve out intentional time just for you. No agenda, no multitasking, just presence.

Nicole:

We do this for everyone else, our kids, our partners, our friends. This is your chance to do it for you. Even 30 minutes of dedicated time to yourself can feel like a reset. All right, number two, dress up just for fun. Put on something you love, even if you're not going anywhere special. That outfit that makes you feel confident, bold, playful, whatever mood you want to embody.

Alicia:

This one is definitely speaking my language, style is a self celebration. It's saying I matter enough to show up for myself. And bonus points if you wear the outfit while doing something ordinary, like making breakfast or running errands, it's not about impressing anyone else, it's about how you feel. Number three, do something creative. Leo Energy is deeply creative, so this week make space for your creative side. Write a poem, doodle in a notebook, bake something beautiful, or put on music and dance in your kitchen.

Nicole:

You don't have to be good at it. It's not about the end result. It's about tapping into the joy of self-expression. When we create, we reconnect with ourselves on a deeper level. Number four, start a, you did that list. Each night this week, write down three things you're proud of, big or small. Maybe it's how you handled a tough conversation, or that you remember to drink your mineral water. Don't wait for external validation. Celebrate yourself in real time.

This shifts your mindset in powerful ways instead of ending the day thinking about what you didn't do, you start seeing your own wins and building confidence from the inside out. Number five, take up space without apologizing. This is the heart leo energy. Post the photo. Say what you mean. Take the break you need and stop shrinking to make others more comfortable.

Leo reminds us that it's not selfish to be seen. It's necessary. You're allowed to take up space in your own life. You're allowed to show up fully as you are. Okay, so our glow reflection this week is Where in my life am I ready to shine a little brighter?

It might be in be in your wardrobe or your wardrobe or your creativity, or how you speak up. Whatever it is, trust that your light is needed.
